Or you could grind the two rivet heads flush with a dremel or equivalent grinder and then struggle to prise the plate off the pins. Modern chains come with a riveted master link. Do not use a clip style link on a high powered motorbike. To replace an endless chain you will need a soft link (rivet link), a chain breaker, a chain press and a chain riveter or with chain extractor and riveter tool, the separate breaker and press tools are not required.
