Terms of Sale
All prices include VAT at the current rate and only where applicable. We reserve the right to occasionally substitute one brand for another in the interests of maintaining our commitment to a swift delivery. When this does happen, the replacement item will be of the same or of higher quality. If any items are out of stock, we will inform you and refund immediately any payment be it for part or whole order. Full credit or replacement, at our discretion, will be allowed in cases where the goods are returned because of obviously faulty workmanship or an error on the part of our organisation. All claims must be made in writing within thirty days from receipt of goods.
All of our electrical or mechanical products must be fitted by a professional in motorcycle mechanics and preferably approved by a professional body or association otherwise any manufacturers warranty may be invalid.
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the DSR's (Distant Selling Regulations) and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Nothing said by any person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us and save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order for any reason including, without limitation and whether or not payment has been received by us, if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- We do not deliver to your area; or
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do refuse your order we will notify you by e-mail and will refund to your account any sum deducted by us from your account as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
We may cancel any transaction if we believe doing so may prevent financial loss. We may place a delay on a payment for a period of time, limit payment sources for a transaction, and limit your ability to make a payment or deactivate your account if we believe doing so may prevent financial loss. We may contact your payment source issuer, law enforcement, or impacted third parties (including other users) and share details of any payments you are associated with if we believe doing so may prevent financial loss or a violation of law.
No merchandise may be returned for refund without authorisation. You must first contact us and request a returns authorisation number and returns address, a brief reason for the return would be appreciated. Failure to return with the correct authorisation number or if you return to an unauthorised address, we withhold the right to refuse full or partial refund. When contacting us please always state your order number which can be found by logging into your account or via the email sent from us that confirmed your order.
Items which are sold in clear sealed packaging must be returned in the same unopened sealed packaging to qualify for any refund as many motorcycle parts are perishable and must also be in a condition to be sold on as brand new. Also any mechanical or electrical items can only be returned if they have not been fitted or used in any way whether in a sealed container or not.
Brass jets and clutch roller weights are NOT returnable as they may have been fitted for testing purposes or are easily damaged. Such goods as these and all other products supplied by Motorcycle Products are checked before packing.
HEL Brake Lines: As all lines are made to order we do not accept returns or refunds if you order for the wrong bike.
Before returning any purchased unwanted electrical items such as coils or rectifiers please make sure that they have not been fitted and that no current has passed through them, otherwise our supplier/s will reject them. Electrical goods are always fully tested by qualified electrical engineers.
Should any goods be supplied by us in error we must be notified within 14 days from delivery, we will cover return costs and exchange or refund in full as agreed between the customer and Motorcycle Products. No returns are accepted in any case, thirty days after date of delivery.
If the product you purchase is faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your consumer rights. You have the right to reject your item and get a refund within 30 days of purchase.
If you buy a product that turns out to be faulty, you can choose to reject it which means you can give it back and get a refund. But, the law only gives you a reasonable time to do this – what's reasonable depends on the product and how obvious the fault is. If you've owned the item for less than six months, any Items that are deemed of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described may receive either a full refund or replacement as agreed.
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can each keep records of communication. You must state your order number which can be found by logging into your account or via the email sent from us that confirmed your order. Typically replies within minutes but certainly within 12 hours during and out of office hours.
All goods are only guaranteed in accordance with the manufacturers own terms of warranty.
Claims evaluation will be made in a just and prompt manner by the manufacturer.
All implied warranties, including, but not limited to implied warranties of the fitness and merchantability, are limited in duration to a period ending one year from the date of purchase.
All batteries come with at least 12 months warranty which is for a replacement battery only, no refunds or credit is granted under any circumstances. Other than batteries, electrical items are only guaranteed for 30 days.
Chromed parts have no guarantee / warranty and exhausts only six months due to British road and weather conditions.
All parcels are picked and packed by 3.30pm, nothing can be cancelled same day after 1.30pm and will if required have to be returned by customer.
Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back. A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. Please contact us as soon as possible.
You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. If you wish to cancel and return your order where goods have already been dispatched or received by you, you must inform us in writing requesting cancellation within 14 working days from receipt of order either by letter or email. If you cancel an order then you must return the goods at your expense within thirty days.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.
If you cancel the contract but do not return the goods to us in the condition they were in when delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
If you fail to return the goods, fail to take reasonable care of the goods while in your charge and they get damaged in transit, if you return the goods or you return them at our expense, then we will charge you a reasonable direct cost of the return even if you have already been refunded.
