Delivery Terms

By placing your order, you confirm that you have read and accept these Delivery Terms, and our Terms of Use.

You can check your shipping rate by adding items to your basket and using the shipping calculator after selecting your area or country. Prices shown for goods and shipping include VAT where applicable. UK VAT (20%) is removed for customers outside the UK once you are logged in.

Payment

Payment for goods and shipping can be made by credit card, debit card, or PayPal. Please contact us if you wish to pay by cash, postal order, or cheque.

UK Delivery

All UK prices include VAT (Value Added Tax).

Most UK Mainland orders are delivered next working day, excluding weekends, however delivery timeframes are not guaranteed due to incidents beyond our control. When using Royal Mail, if ordered on a Friday, delivery may sometimes be made over the weekend depending on your local service.

Delivery options and prices are shown at checkout. The service offered depends on the size, weight, and value of the parcel, and on the delivery area.

Important UK notes

Courier deliveries

Orders that are too large, too heavy, or too valuable to be sent via Royal Mail will be sent by courier, for which a signature may be required upon delivery.

If you provide a valid email address, the carrier should send delivery status updates.

Split orders

We are online only. We do not hold stock, products are sent directly from one, or more suppliers. If your order contains more than one item, it may arrive in separate deliveries.

This can happen if items are supplied from different locations, or if one supplier is out of stock and we source elsewhere. Where possible, items dispatch the same day, and the deliveries should arrive close together.

Not going to be in?

If there is no one available to receive the parcel, it may be delivered to a neighbour, or to a local pick up point, such as a post office, or the carrier’s local depot.

Tracking your order

Tracking details are normally supplied to your email address, so please make sure your email address is correct, and kept up to date. If you need tracking details and have not received them, please contact us at least 12 hours after your dispatch notification.

Fails to deliver

If a carrier fails to deliver and no recipient is available, they may attempt delivery again on the next working day, or as soon as possible. After repeated failed delivery attempts, the carrier may return your parcel to sender.

We will not be liable for compensation, or expenses you may suffer due to our inability to deliver, or due to the actions, or failure of any third party to carry out their contractual obligations.

If your order is refused at delivery for any reason other than an error by the carrier, you will be liable for our full costs. These costs include outbound shipping, and any costs we incur for the return of the goods to us.

Any refund may be refused if we do not have a full and correct delivery address, and contact telephone number. Please always check these are correct, and up to date, before ordering.

Your order status

  1. Order placed, you are notified, and the status shows as pending.
  2. We process the order and send it to our supplier, the status changes to checking stock.
  3. Once dispatched, the status changes to order shipped, and you are notified.
  4. If anything is out of stock, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Adverse weather conditions

Adverse weather conditions can delay delivery services, and are beyond our control. No refunds, or compensation will be given for late delivery due to adverse weather conditions.

International Delivery

International delivery rates depend on parcel size, weight, value, and destination.

  1. To see the delivery cost, add items to your basket and use the shipping calculator.
  2. You may need to log in to remove UK VAT before the correct rate is shown.
  3. Where available, we usually ship international orders by DHL.

Tracking is not always automatically sent for international orders. If you require tracking details, please contact us and request them at least 12 hours after your dispatch notification is received.

Your country not listed?

If your country is not shown at checkout, please contact us. We may be able to ship by DHL, subject to size, weight, value, and destination.

For some destinations, including South Africa and other selected countries, we may only ship on a strict customer risk basis, with payment by SWIFT transfer only, and no refund or replacement if the parcel is delayed, held, lost, or not delivered. If this applies, we will explain the terms before you pay.

Shipping overseas, duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price, or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility, and are normally collected by the delivery company, or when you collect the item.

Please check with your country’s customs office to determine any additional costs prior to purchasing.

Items containing fluids, aerosols, or hazardous materials cannot be shipped overseas. You will receive a warning if this applies when you add the item to your basket.
