This tacho works on any single, twin, triple or four cylinder motorcycle with one or more ignition coils.

To make this tacho work on a single fire twin (V-twin engines), you need a tacho adapter, but split the wire going to the tachometer and couple a resister and capacitor in parallel to earth. (you can get these from an electronics or auto store)
