The side plate must be pressed onto the pins using a chain tool or vice
The rivet pins must then be flared using a suitable chain riveting tool
This type of link is permanent and cannot be removed without cutting the chain
XJ rivet links are designed to match the O-ring setup of this chain for maximum strength and durability
