Two full length hoses both running from the master cylinder using the supplied double banjo bolt. One running to the right hand caliper and one to the left hand caliper.
HEL brake line kits eliminate that 'spongy' feeling often found with rubber hoses under extreme braking conditions - the time when performance is needed the most. By replacing the original rubber hoses with our complete system you will remove this sponginess and your braking will deliver new levels of precision.
We offer a lifetime warranty on this item under normal conditions of use. If you ever need to make a claim for replacement, we will only need a copy of your invoice which you can print from within your account.
Please Note: As all lines are made to order we do not accept returns or refunds if you order for the wrong bike.
If you need to rotate the fittings you can do this yourself: Firmly hold the ferrule (metal part at end of line) with a pipe grip tool or you can carefully use the pipe grip section of a pair of pliers, put a banjo bolt or other similar long bolt so as not to damage the banjo (as these are tight) through the banjo hole and rotate with your hands to the angle you need.
The lines may come with flat spots but these will go once fitted and bled.
Give the system a meticulous visual inspection before test riding. By test riding, we mean going slowly forward a few feet, applying the brakes, and then checking again for any fluid leaks. Then ensure everything is tightened correctly and the brakes still have a good solid feel to them.
Seriously – don't ride your bike until you're certain you've bled the brakes correctly. Check all end fittings are attached securely to each line. Check line(s) for clearance, and that the kit has been installed without any kinks or twists. Make sure full suspension travel and steering lock are unaffected, and that the hoses aren't stretched or trapped in any way. Then tighten the banjo bolt to correct torque.
