Tubeless Tyre Puncture Repair Wired Mushroom Plug Patches
This is a large one piece plug-patch for puncture repairs in the tread area of radial and cross ply auto tyres Comes with 10 mushroom plugs and a tube of rubber cement
- Stem length 90mm
- Stem OD 6.5mm
- Patch OD 50mm repairs almost and size of puncture
Clean inside area of tyre with brake cleaner to remove all sealant residue
Leave to dry naturally and roughen up a little
Clean area again and leave to dry
Apply supplied rubber cement and allow to get tacky
Push mushroom through and apply bit more cement to the base and bottom of stalk
Pull through tightly and press patch on from inside
Leave to cure for several hours
Peel off mushroom backing and press down feather edge on plug
Trim stalk to same height as tread
For an extra secure seal, you can coat your repair using our sealant SKU: 023068 giving you complete confidence
